CodeDrop Labs ("we", "us", "our") operates the CodeDrop platform (codedrop.me). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.
When you create an account, we collect your display name, username, email address, and password (stored in encrypted form). This information is necessary to provide our service.
If you create a campaign, we collect app name, description, cover image, promo codes, event settings, and platform selection. Promo codes are stored securely and distributed only to verified participants.
We automatically collect IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction data (page views, clicks, claim activity) for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These include WordPress login cookies (wordpress_logged_in, wordpress_sec) and a cookie consent preference (cd_cookie_consent stored in your browser's localStorage). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. You may decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit.
When you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store your credit card or payment details directly. We receive only transaction confirmation, amount, and payment reference ID.
We use your information to: provide and maintain the CodeDrop service; process promo code distribution and campaign management; send account-related emails (welcome, password reset, code delivery); prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service; improve our platform and user experience.
For users in the European Economic Area, we process personal data based on: contract performance (providing the service you signed up for); legitimate interest (fraud prevention, service improvement); consent (where applicable, such as marketing communications); and legal obligations (tax and regulatory compliance).
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following cases: with your consent; to comply with legal obligations or law enforcement requests; to protect the rights, safety, or property of CodeDrop Labs or our users; with service providers who assist in operating our platform (email delivery, hosting), under strict confidentiality agreements.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing), HTTPS encryption for all data transmission, and access controls for our infrastructure. Promo codes are stored in encrypted form and revealed only to authorized recipients. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Campaign data is retained for the duration of the campaign plus 90 days. Payment records are retained for 5 years as required by tax regulations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at codedroplab@gmail.com.
You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability (export in machine-readable format); and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at codedroplab@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Our service is not intended for individuals under the age of 14 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete the data.
Our servers are located in South Korea. If you access our service from outside South Korea, your information may be transferred to and processed in South Korea. By using our service, you consent to this transfer. For EEA users, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Our service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Google Play Store and Apple App Store). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external services. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
